Ghostly Ghastly Goings-On at RAPS

A spooky celebration of ghoulish fun was hair-raising creative enjoyment for little ones at Ramsgate Arts Primary.
The Reception group donned a colourful array of drop-dead impressive outfits for a festival of phantasmagoria.
It began with a fashion show on the main hall stage which gave children the chance to strut their frighteningly good outfits in front of classmates and teachers, who also dressed for the occasion.

A full programme of spooktacular activities continued through the day including ghost painting, pumpkin investigations, monster spaghetti, spider exploration tuff trays, monster making and much more.

The day finished with a Hallowe’en disco, where children demonstrated their dance moves, followed by tasty party treats.
Learning through play is important at RAPS and the activities encouraged creativity, imagination, exploration, communication and social skills, with the pupils having lots of fun at the same time.
The Early Years team said: “We really value making school a place children love coming to. Special days like this help create positive memories, build friendships and develop children's sense of belonging.
“We believe making school exciting, engaging and enjoyable plays an important role in promoting positive attitudes towards school and encouraging good attendance.
“We love bringing learning to life at Ramsgate Arts Primary and creating memorable experiences that make children excited to come to school.”

Ramsgate Arts Primary is part of the Viking Academy Trust with its partner schools Chilton Primary in Ramsgate and Upton Juniors in Broadstairs.
