VAT EQUALITY OBJECTIVES
It is against the law to discriminate against anyone because of:

- religion, belief or lack of religion/belief
- sexual orientation
These are called ‘protected characteristics’.
Viking Academy Trust-wide Equalities Objectives for 2023 -2027 are:
- Ensure that all staff are given clear progressions for leadership and professional development, so that the VAT Trust-wide & individual school Leadership Teams are representative of the wider school teams.

- Seek new & innovative ways to consult and involve those affected by inequality in the decisions taken by Viking Academy Trust to promote equality and equity and eliminate discrimination.
